The Path

In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.
Proverbs 16:9

Your path led through the sea,
your way through the mighty waters,
though your footprints were not seen.
Psalm 77: 19

Sometimes as we travel down the path, we get a bit comfortable. The scenery becomes commonplace. The way may even begin to seem a bit monotonous. However, when we hit the rougher patches, or come to a fork in the path, things begin to get a little exciting, a little scary. Currently we find ourselves at the fork again, and while it is a terribly frustrating place to be--especially the not knowing--it is also a time in which we see more clearly than ever that we are not on the path alone. May we have enough grace to remember all the paths He has already made straight. May we have enough faith to trust that our Leader will continue to guide our way.
