Intensiosity...

thy name is Jillian Michaels.

This little DVD has been kicking my bootay for the past few days. I am pleased to report that progress has been made. The first attempt, I gave up at 5 minutes in. The second night I made it to 9 minutes and 8 seconds--yes, those seconds do count. And tonight, I made it to 19 minutes and 34 seconds. Of course this is in the beginning workout of three, but I am quite proud of the progress made. This workout is quite intense enough to camp out in for a few weeks, if not longer. I'm not going to be racing to the harder ones.

Edited to add: this also provides excellent homeschool PE for my energetic little 6 year old, who gleefully informs me at 18 minutes in that she is kicking her own bottom as she runs. Meanwhile I am gasping for breath.

Is "intensiosity" a word? Better question - Is Jillian Michaels human?

Stick with it. I will live vicariously through your victory!

One thing Dan always says is this: writers have free license to create words. :) We do it all the time around here. Intensiosity fit her much more than simply "intense." That woman is a machine!!!

that sounds hard! I gave up doing yoga in the living room because my youngest would do it with me, and then end up crawling under me, on me..it's hard enough to hold up your own body weight, but adding children on my back was just too much!
