Sweet Reprieve!
If you are anything like me, this photo strikes fear in your heart. And, no, this is not a photo of our boxes; we've only packed about half this many. For a moment today I sat and thought about the upcoming week. Dh is presently taking the bar exam and will be doing so for the next two days. Then he would get home just in time to have to join me in frantically packing up the house to be out by July 31st. All this, mind you, still with no idea where we are headed next. The thought almost had me hyperventilating.
However, we found out that the home buyer has asked our landlord to postpone the sale for one year. So, we had a sliver of hope that we could possibly stretch our time out a bit into August.
Today he called the manager and--drumroll please--she said it would be great for her if we stayed on for a few more weeks. The students come back towards the end of August, and we can help her try to get new renters. God is so amazing.
