Fall weather means hot chocolate...

Yum...doesn't that picture make you want to lick your lips? I love fall, and one of my favorite things about fall is that it is cool enough for my favorite hot drink--hot chocolate. I could drink hot chocolate all year long; however, it just doesn't feel right to drink it in the summer time. Now if I were in a moderate temperature area like Northern California, maybe, but not in the sweltering southern state I call home.

Today the weather was rainy and the temperature was much cooler. So, what did my thoughts turn to? Why, hot chocolate, of course. Man, I wish I had some whipped cream.

I am sooo with you on the hot chocolate! Love it! However, the temps in my part of N. CA have called for the A/C the past few days! Ugh! BUT...it does cool off rather nicely to 50 at night so I still get to drink it! :0)

Hope you'll get to enjoy it soon!

I must say, Redding (in No. Cal.) gets to be 115-120 in the summer. The only thing we're looking for is a cold pool or an icee. But I have to say, I love when it cools down and we get to have hot drinks. I have them everyday but it's usually more like French Vanilla International Coffees. If you lived here with me though...I have whipped cream!

:) I should have specified the Bay Area...it's always rather foggy and cool, except on rare occasions. I got some whipped cream--now to keep your dear brother from wasting it all by squirting it in his mouth and the mouths of our youngsters!
Where do you get hot chocolate like that in Gwd?

Sadly, I know of no place to purchase beautiful hot chocolate like that in the picture around these parts. I make mine at home: 2 pockets of swiss miss milk chocolate (did I mention I like chocolate?), milk warmed on the stove and yummy whipped cream on top. I got the picture from http://www.sxc.hu/index.phtml They have great stock photos for free.
