Nestled among Dh's law journals and comic books on the nearest shelf was a book I had bought for Riley to read when she's older.

Even though all Scotland seemed to be against him and his decision not to run, Eric had stuck to his decision. Eric was soft-spoken and still a little shy, but there was no way other people's opinions could cause him to do something he didn't think was right or stop him from doing something he felt God had called him to.
